ALBANY (WBNG) -- Governor Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday that around $350 million is supplemental payments to low and moderate-income families statewide through the Empire State Child Credit program.

Hochul’s office said more than 1 million families will receive this financial assistance without any need to apply, as each eligible family will receive a direct payment of up to $330 per child. The Empire State Child Credit is a refundable tax credit for income-qualified New Yorkers with children.

Hochul and the State Legislature expanded the Empire State Child Credit to include children under 4 years old which benefits an estimated 600,000 additional children per year in 2023.

“We’re putting money back in the pockets of more than a million New Yorkers because this administration delivers for working families,” Governor Hochul said n a news release. “Our work is far from over. From expanding tax credits to increasing access to child care assistance, I’ll never stop fighting to address the cost of living for working parents and help them create a brighter future for their kids.”

Billions in debt, the roads totally suck, the cities are anarchic, and NY is a one party fascist state. How can Princess Kathy “allocate” without the Legislature approving? Silly me.

Wealth transfer from those that produce to those that don’t.

Seems like this...

Blatant wealth transfer, or in this case taking from producers to give to non-producers. Soon there will not be enough producers pulling the welfare wagon.

In 2025, Trump is going to shut off the federal money spigot to New York and other Rat sanctuary states. The few remaining wealth creators in those regions will have to pay for ALL of the state funding apparatus. Embrace the misery and suck that is coming.

Why not just cut everyone’s taxes since they have money to give away. Might make it easier if prices go down so that family of chosen children could afford them.

It’s an election year. Legalities & niceties are irrelevant, especially when the folks who would examine those legalities are the same ones doing them.

“We’re putting money back in the pockets of more than a million New Yorkers because this administration delivers for working families,”

And she is getting the money from the pockets of millions of other working families in New York.

In 31 days, we are out of NY for good. Thank-you Gov. Hochul for helping us make the decision to move out of the state where we were born and raised and where out children were born and raised (they abandoned NY many years ago).

People of New York State must like it that way. They voted her in and will continue to vote for her while whining and complaining all the way. Watch them as they vote for Camilla for President.
