IMHO, they were hoping for it to generate the PR it did for the otherwise unwatched olympics. As the saying goes, bad publicity is better than no publicity.

That rule of thumb may be suspended when mocking THE one and only Living God.

As the saying goes, bad publicity is better than no publicity.

That may be true for the irritainment industry but ABC/Disney, Target, Gillette, Bud Light, and John Deere might disagree seeing how much their own bad publicity cost them.

It's not just the perverted actors and director of that anti-Christian show, it's also on those who approved of it for broadcasting. The executives at NBC in particular need to be called on the carpet for their role in this.
