Not at all. My husband’s gay cousins all had straight parents and that caused a lot of pain and trouble. Out of six cousins on his mother’s side, 4 of them were gay. One didn’t even know the other three. One of them was the victim of the gay outings in DC back in the nineties. I think that simply caused the Dad to sink into his opposition even more. The Dad’s funeral was interesting to say the least. I should add that the three living gay cousins are all successful professionals.
