I think Donald Trump should express his concern for the events unfolding in Israel, and offer prayers for the victims, but say he will refrain from comment on the Biden administration's response until after that response is known. (Put the ball in Joe and Kamala's court.)
If Israel has to do it they will. I hope they won’t have to. The next 6 months will be very precarious. Maybe with God’s hand Trump will win and go back to negotiate.
People forget he sent Jared Kushner to the region with a $50 billion proposal to make peace and revitalize the regional economies. That deal failed, but he did get the Abraham Accords and peace with four Arab countries who can see there is no benefit to continued hostilities. Maybe they go back in 2025 and bring Lebanon and Hezbullah into it. It won’t be easy given Hezbullah answers to Iran but if somehow they can make a true peace with the Palestinians (not that fake peace that was Oslo) there will just be no upside for Hezbullah to continue their hostilities. The Arab leaders have a saying “we can’t be more Palestinian than the Palestinians” and while they are sympatico, they are just not going to carry their water for them. Hezbullah claims to be acting in support of the Palestinians but if there is an end to hostilities they lose almost all justification, except their Pan-Islamic beliefs.
Still, Iran is the source of the problem, driven by zealous ideological beliefs not practical national and regional interests. That has to change one way or another - preferably by the Iranian people. Obama had a chance but blew it - choosing to back the mullahs instead of the millions in the streets protesting their rule during the Arab spring (in contrast to Egypt where he supported the overthrow of the military rule - it seems he’s partial to Islamism). The CIA is great at sparking color revolutions. Time for them to do something good for once. Let the Iranian people take care of it themselves and the dominos will fall.
The town is in the Golan Heights, right on the border. Point blank range (except you never know where one of the chintzier rockets will veer off to.)
Ironically, although the Druze inhabitants are treated reasonably well by Israel, with even a good measure of local self-government, most would prefer the area was still ruled by Syria (although how green they’d find that grass if the town actually reverted back to Syrian control is highly questionable.) In any event, Hezbollah sort of shot itself in the foot (again) here, even if Israel said “Oh, it’s just some kids of Syrian-leaning Druze, why bother retaliating for them?”
They don’t want all out war. They will try to avoid it as much as possible. Tit-for-tat exchanges of fire are about all bith sides are willing to do right now. But things can escalate. Bombing a soccer field of kids is the kind of stupid tactic that could set things off.
I prefer that Israel just kill every last one of those savages.
Then kill their pet goats.

Syria is not getting it back, and Israel won’t let it go unanswered. As much as I hate the phrase “proportional” I hope the response is measured. Full out war in Lebanon will be a bloodbath.
Probably we'll see a bunker buster strike on the below-ground bunker of the jihadist puppet of Iran that runs the Hizzies. Israel *should* bust the missle bunkers, because about a dozen of those strikes would cause the thousands of stored Hizzie missiles to start and keep blowing up.
the leader of the Druze community already spoke and said that if BiBi is too chicken to do anything THEY will do something about this
What will bring peace is the annihilation of Hamas and Hezbollah.
Other than a strongly worded letter there will be no response from the Biden Admin. Oh, and they will probably call for restraint from the Israelis.
Israel has to defend them.
they must and they will..first Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack claiming it was payback for Israel killing some of their “Fighters” but now that they know they are royally f*cked they are claiming no it wasnt us..yeah Israel, its time, do it already..bomb the hell out of Beirut, they did it before do it again
Oh, sure. That'll work out really well, just like the pounding they've launched against Hamas and Palestine since October -- almost a year ago and still at it. What has that brought Israel other than a hundred or so thousand dead Palestinians, a bunch of dead IDF soldiers, and a country on a total war footing? How long can they keep this up?
Yep. Attack Hezbollah, attack them Houthies, bomb Iran, bomb Lebanon and bomb Syria. That's going work out so good.
WHAT? Your “problem” is with Israel for “not preventing” the hit, rather than with those who “launched” the attack?
Sure sounds like it to me.
So, its Israel’s FAULT that these people are dead?
Knit in Yahoo himself probably! /s
That’s the thing. Seems to me you can do more damage with the gloves on.
Agree.
They are paying attention and watching for whether there will be a change in DC, just like the illegals did when Biden told them to come on in at the border when he was declared the winner and installed in office.
They listen to Kamala waffling on hating the loss of life by violence meaning IDF missions and hope she will win.
Let loose the IDF Dogs of War!
May Israel be merciless!
Total war. If it doesn’t happen today, it will happen tomorrow or the day after. It’s what the Mohammedans want and what they will get.
They’ve conquered Europe and Britain without a fight but the Jews will give them what for.
