Peggy sucking up to Murdoch. He and the rest of the GOPe hate JDVance, even more than they hate Trump. The WSJ has been and will in the future pay compliments to Kamala (in the hope she can be easily manipulated to support their interests).
Peggy Noonan was relevant when she was Reagan’s speechwriter. Unfortunately, for her, it was all downhill from there.

Noonan has a point here. On election day, Democrats and Republicans vote for their own, and independents pick a side. The country is close to a 50/50 split on election day. Harris will get the majority of Democrat votes.
What she is missing is, the Democrats did not vote for Harris in their primaries twice, once last time, and now again. Their leadership is pushing delegates to believe her nomination is a done before the delegates fully know what is really going on and who they are nominating.
| Democrats are trying to make Republican opposition to Harris the issue. The real issue is inside the Democrat party. The party leadership and big donors have to sell Harris and a new Harris campaign to delegates and voters who did not vote for her, twice.
So for right now, the real opposition to Harris is the Democratic base which has not fallen in line to the will of the party bosses. The Democrats are looking at a voter revolt of cross over or stay home voters.
The delegates are "free agents" right now. They can nominate someone else like Gavin Newsom but the liberal media will label them "racist" for doing that.

I would like to see the match-up with Trump with only real, legal ballots from live humans...
If only real, legal ballots cast by live human beings were counted, it would be a 57-state landslide for Trump.
