Yup, climate change is making whackos go arsonist and start wildfires. We can’t do anything about the whackos so we must mess with Mother Nature.
If they are discussing the current Wild Fire in Northern California this winter it had more then usual rain fall. It is most likely not allowing lumber jacks thinning the forest and doing pre-burns of grass lands. IMHO. The Indians used to burn the grasslands every late summer and fall to thin it out.

The wildfires in Washington state get big and out of control due to poor forest management.
Forests are burning because bunny-huggers (and watermelons) made them stop maintaining fire breaks and clearing undergrowth and harvesting old, vulnerable trees in old growth forests.
