U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who came under scrutiny for the agency's failure to prevent the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, has resigned, according to two sources familiar with the decision.
“”They will not cancel her pension.””
It is sad that we taxpayers will be paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars for her ‘service’.
Maybe an impeachment could have cut off the pension, but the impeachment will never get past the Senate who loves their government workers.
Perhaps they are in fact following the Continuity of Government protocols—in secret.
Note that the official version (published below) assumes that everything is transparent—but what if it is not?

Bears repeating
Cheatle’s resignation should not deter us from determining the
true significance of the S/S payroll numbers coming out of the Trump shooting debacle.
<><>Cheatle employed 7100 Secret Service Special agents and 2800 Task Force Officers, plus Uniformed Division officers, Technical Law Enforcement officers, and administrative, professional, and technical personnel on the tax-paid govt payroll. Complete with perks, privileges, bonuses, and pensions.
<><>Mayorkas’ Homeland Security Investigations division which apparently “lent” employees to Cheatle has over 9,800 Special Agents and tactical officers on the tax-paid govt payroll. Complete With perks privileges bonuses and pensions.
<><>The Executive Office of the President of the United States employs 1800 tax-paid individuals, some 584 in the WH alone.
Yet, Biden, Mayorkas and Cheatle denied Trump’s request for increased security.
The Biden regime sent $200,000,000,000 tax dollars to Ukraine to protect its people,
but could not find the tax dollars to beef up security for a presidential candidate.

“Her boss, Mayorkis should also resign.”
I agree with that. He is another major problem.
“””Cheatle is another DEI failure of the Biden Administration.”””
Cheatle was hired by Biden/Harris. Corrupt people hiring corrupt people is the hallmark of Biden/Harris.
Payroll fraud is widespread and easy to pull off on the govt payroll.
There are several methodologies used, including
<><>submitting falsified time sheets,
<><>issuing unauthorized paychecks, bonuses, benefits and overtime
<><>enrolling fictitious employees in pension plans.
The govt fraudster simply sets up fictitious employees and arranges for them to receive a salary,
benefits, overtime payments, bonuses and pensions, even though they do not perform any duties.
The fraudster then diverts the fraudulent payments into their bank account or that of an accomplice.
I agree, but here’s the problem. I grew up in Florida. Many builders tried to “reclaim” marshlands and built subdivisions on top of this. What do you think happened often after the honeymoon period of sometimes decades of time? Be it sinkholes, or a hurricane flooding the crap out of the place, ground water issues, problems more often than not arose. Still we must try to drain the swamp and dig out those mud snappers and do away with the lot much as can be done.
So very corrupt.
Wouldn’t any continuity plan require the formal use of the 25th amendment?
‘bye Cheetos!
Move it to the center of the country. I know they mapped out a place for DC. It was never supposed to be like what we have today.
We are used to looking at everything legalistically.
A secret implementation of COG would not be bound by any law or the constitution.
That is the exact problem.
U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who came under scrutiny for the agency’s failure to prevent the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, has resigned, according to two sources familiar with the decision.
Cheatle had faced calls to step down since the shooting at a Trump rally on July 13, which left one attendee dead and two others critically injured.
In an interview with ABC News after the attack, Cheatle called the incident “unacceptable” and said it was her responsibility to ensure nothing like it will happen again.
“The buck stops with me,” she said. “I am the director of the Secret Service, and I need to make sure that we are performing a review and that we are giving resources to our personnel as necessary.”
Very true. I don’t see how they could get around that. The biggest clue in my mind was when the US sent nuclear capable bombers close enough to Russia for them to scramble jets. I have no doubt that was warning.
How true.
Bone chilling.
But true.
At the time, Maryland was the middle of the country. There wasn’t much country. Now there is, but would you really wish this affliction on Ohio or Milwaukee, let alone Alabama or Tennessee?
She gets an”A” for Effort
