CHICAGO — When Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson announced in March that it was filing a “first-of-its-kind lawsuit” against firearm manufacturer Glock, the city drummed up publicity with a press release and widespread media coverage.
There was no press release and no media coverage on Monday when the city’s attorneys unceremoniously dropped the case in a two-sentence federal court filing.
The city’s lawsuit sought to hold Glock responsible because some of its handguns can be equipped with cheap, illegal after-market devices that allow the weapons to generate automatic gunfire, similar to a machine gun. ...

Not only would it have deflated their false argument that guns kill people, it would have shown just how negligent the Chicago prosecutor's office has been.
Glock needs to lay a “first of its kind” lawsuit on the Chicongo taxpayers until they start hiring some decent politicians.
Maybe Glock will have a celebratory sale.
Chicago should be required, by federal law if necessary, to reimburse Glock for its legal fees.
Glock giggle switches can still be bought on Amazon. Some Chinese company sells them as “replica” parts for airsoft BB guns. But sue Glock....
The company should be able to sue for its expenses to date, on what was nothing more than a political case.
They dropped and replaced it with another one.
