Singapore is sending 1,000 tonnes of white rice and 300 tonnes of canned sardines to alleviate the hunger crisis in Gaza.
This will be Singapore's fourth tranche of air to the region, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (July 22).
The supplies will be shipped from Singapore to Cyprus, then to Gaza.

I’m thinking they would do more than send bread and sardines if they were supporting Hamas.
Maybe if Oz would send Vegamite to Gaza, the locals would rebel against leadership and sue for peace?

I worked with an engineer who was a child refugee from South Vietnam. They were held in a camp in (I forget the neighboring country) where the commandant stole all the money donated to feed the refugees. But Norway had sent thousands of cans of sardines. He said he had sardines three times a day for about two years. It was their only food. I asked him how he felt about that. He said, “God bless Norway.”

Singapore does not grow any of its food, all of it is imported. 1000 tons of rice means about 1/2 pound from every Singapore resident.

And it won’t reach the Palestinians, unless they are Hamas.
I think it is neutrality, other than wanting to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. However, having said that, people have trouble with the idea that there can be people so evil that they don’t mind starving people to death for propaganda reasons.
At least send little cans of Vienna Sausages and packs of Nabs. Royal Crown Cola would be a treat, with some Kools for an after dinner smoke.
