The Israeli military said it shot down a surface-to-surface missile from Yemen on Sunday, shortly after Israeli warplanes hit various Houthi targets in western Yemen.
Yemen’s missile did not cross into Israeli territory, though “warnings of rocket and missile fire” were issued in case of falling fragments, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on X.
It came hours after the IDF’s Air Force planes attacked Houthi targets in the western Yemen port of Hodeida, which is used as a supply route for the transfer of Iranian weapons to Houthi rebels, the Israeli military said late Saturday.

I find it weird that the Pentagon is so hard up for soldiers that they’ve begun hiring Yemanis to pretend to be U.S. soldiers.

I’m curious, what Houthi military assets were destroyed as a result of bombing their port? Does it deter any future attacks?
Nothing deters fanatics whether they be Bushido Japanese, SS Germans or insane Muslims.
The only thing that could set them back for decades is to utterly smash them, carpet bomb them, napalm them and grind them into the dust.
What they used to call, total victory or unconditional surrender.
Today the West neither possesses the will, determination or fortitude to do this and the enemies of the West know this so they keep coming back for more.
A consistent policy of attack, not appeasement. In Muslim eyes, appeasement means weakness and weakness invites warfare.
So, isn’t obvious by now or at least during the last 80 years what we need to do?
