Gupta apparently cannot tell the difference between a gunshot blast felt when you are near where the lead and gas leaves the barrel vs being out in the open when a bullet whizzing by.
Exactly. I was about to post the same. There are no "blast" effects unless one is near the end of the barrel when it is fired.
Exactly, would be curious to hear from someone who has knowledge on this matter, but I would imagine there is little external energy from a small projectile passing past someone even that close
There is a YouTube video of a man shooting a 50 cal in a quarry and apparently the bullet or something ricocheted directly back and knocked of his ear defenders
Always wondered how that was possible, something coming straight back like that, but if true and there was some kind of injury possible from the force passing by, a 50 cal would be the one to do it.
The man said something like we are not doing that again…. Seemed okay
