"Because Trump wasn’t supposed to be here.Trump was supposed to be gone as of July 13th.
With Trump out of the way BEFORE the Republican National Convention, according to the rules, the delegate votes would have been up for grabs.
Grandstanding speeches would have been made. Groundbreaking delegate voter lobbying deals would have been made in scrambling secret backroom meetings during the convention. But it would have come down to one person, and one person only: Nikki Haley.
The machine would have made the case that as the runner-up candidate with 97 delegates, she would be the only fair choice to represent the party.
Nikki Haley was supposed to be the candidate Joe Biden ran against from July 13th onward.
Joe would have come out to “unify the nation” with warm words and sentiments of healing. It wouldn’t be a stretch for Joe to have received “huge numbers from independent voters during this unprecedented time of national tragedy.”
Any questions on the amount of votes Biden received would be answered with, “there’s no precedence for this situation so we just don’t have anything to compare it to.”
The debate performance headlines would have been completely overtaken by now. It was never going to matter as much as we thought it did.
Now, with Donald Trump still alive, the base (and now many others) fired up, patriotic, and determined like never before, they’re left to abandon ship.
This is why Obama is now dropping Biden. It is not a coincidence, it is not random.
It’s because Donald Trump wasn’t supposed to be here."
Crooks, the terrible-shot-loner-soy-boy, was a patsy.
We would have been in a hot Civil War.
