I cannot see why anyone would want to live in California anymore even though the geography of California is admittedly spectacular. It is a beautiful state that was blessed by God but now cursed by man. Or better said, cursed by liberals.

Lived there from early 80's to mid 90's...good times in the 80's but rapidly went into the toilet in the 90's (Clinton), but to be honest...Daddy Bush didn't do it any favors, as such he opened the door for Clinton/border flood.

'place is due for a massive quake...one way or another.

Been in CaCaLand for > 30 years. Had bought property in Austin, Tx to move back to when retired. Austin is now blue cra**ole. So, staying put.

Many nice places have been totally corrupted.

Here is a reason. I pay only $3000 per year property taxes on
800K property value.

In Texas I paid $7000 per year property taxes on 279K property value.

Now, do that 23 times for the 23 years I have lived here...

By the way, the owner of my Texas house now pays $12,000 per year.
