That'd be like Trump 1.0 and putting GOPe and RINOs in charge of staffing decisions. That'd didn't work out well then, won't in Trump 2.0.
On that topic, who would make a good chief of staff? Trump needs someone loyal without an agenda and with clear expertise in hiring/firing people, a bulldog that won't take BS or accept sloppy work and excuses.

I never trusted McCarthy and he did what I figured he'd do. But if Trump makes him Chief Of Staff I will be very upset. if there's one position where you need someone who actually has your back, it's Chief of Staff: they have way too much power to have it be someone who works against you (hello John Kelly, talking to you). McCarthy would be a BAD choice.
