Amber Levonchuck was born in Philadelphia on October 21, 1983, to Dorothy Rose[1] and Michael Levonchuck. Her father is of Irish and Italian descent[4] and her mother is of Cape Verdean and maternal Scottish descent from Ayrshire. She has one brother named Antonio Hewlett.[5] Rose grew up in South Philadelphia.[6]
Amber rose is not black. You would think van Jones would know that.

Does she identify as black, even though she is mixed race?
I don’t know anything about her. But it sounds good if the likes of Van Jones are troubled by her.

She was for purposes of the Jim Crow South. Meghan Markle is alsoin Octoroon territory, and she claims the black mantle these days and no black calls her on it. Except for recent Haitian and Somalians coming here, few 100% black in this country.

Amber rose is not black. Well, for that matter, neither is Barack or Kamala.
I used to work with a relatively-dark-skinned Indian guy, who, while he didn't identify as "black," was nonetheless accepted as a genuine brother by all our truly-black cohorts.

Amber rose is not black. You would think van Jones would know that. If you have a sun tan, the blacks "claim" you as a bro or sista.
My cousin married a black guy in the 70's and they have three beautiful girls and two handsome sons and while they call me Uncle, I know the think of themselves as black.
At most they are 50/50 but in today's world, being a brother or sista is a badge of honor and privilege.

That mixed ancestry sure created a beautiful woman. I always find it sad that so many naturally beautiful women like to uglify themselves with tats and piercings.

There. Fixed it. Yo.

She’s 1/4 black. Cape Verde is an African island.
