Where are you getting this stuff? Pro-life is not black and white and total bans don’t end abortions anywhere they are legislated. An upper limit would be a good first step.
Vance opposes abortion and he has indicated that he may support a federal ban on abortions after 15 weeks. He has more recently said that abortion laws should be set by the states. When asked whether abortion laws should include exceptions for rape and incest, he said, “two wrongs don’t make a right.”
Vance was among the 31 Senate Republicans who voted against final passage of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023.
“I had hoped we could improve this deal through the amendment process, but the reality is this bill was beyond saving,” Vance said.
“Ohioans have suffered long enough from the inflation caused by the Biden administration’s out of control budget, and this bill simply does nothing to end their spending spree. This is a bad deal for the people of Ohio, which is why I voted against it.”
