SNL has had its ups and downs for sure. But it’s had a few Golden Ages where everything came together. The Chris Farley era (late 80s, early 90s) was definitely one of the Golden Ages.

When I was in college in the 80’s, Saturday night parties would stop when Saturday Night Live would come on, (Lot on black and white TV’s!) and we would watch.
