Dan Bongino says there were few actual Secret Service agents present - the bulk of the team were DHS "security" people, courtesy of Ms. Cheatle. That would help explain why they seemed clueless and disorganized and needed a few minutes to come up with a response. After all, Cheatle's 'protocol' is not to shoot first? An equally stupid name taken from the UK notion of the āHome Guardā from WWII. Just... lame. No higher security clearance than the Secret Service under the Treasury Dept agencyā wonder what it is now they are diminished by this added gift along with TSA from GW Bush.
