I don’t believe this is true, because it makes no sense for the SS. {It can make sense for snipers in other situations, but not this.) It’s a lie.

According to the post, Jonathan Willis had the assassin in his sights for at least 3 minutes but was prevented from taking the shot by the head of the Secret Service. He stated that he did not follow the orders and returned fire despite strict instructions not to engage.

You or our source are full of dung. If a weapon is brought to bear upon the asset, you are free to engage. In point of fact, if any person in the crowd had a firearm and saw Crooks take aim at Trump, they would be well within the law to fire upon the crooked perp. 9.502 – 9.506 JUSTIFICATION: USE OF FORCE/DEADLY FORCE IN DEFENSE OF OTHERS. While I don’t practice law in PA, this law is almost universal because it makes sense.
If what you say is true, then, why even have Secret Service Protection? You’d be better off having your friends, constituents, and relatives out protecting you under the authority bestowed upon them by Pennsylvania law. Maybe Kennedy is lucky not to have SS protection.
When I go on ‘news’ or ‘news Trump’ to look to see what else there is surprisingly no immediate articles come up about this whole assassination attemopt.
Kind of reminds me of when a kid is guilty and he doesn’t want to talk about it.
It wasn’t the Secret Service that were the counter-snipers. Their tactical vests say very clearly, “POLICE,” on them.

If the sat images are accurate, that wasn’t exactly Dealey Plaza. Hardly any other roofs in sight. How hard could it have been to station a man there?
I and members of my family have been in cities, and owned homes in cities, where presidents have campaigned. For half a mile around, the land is crawling with government agents. They’re on your roof, in your house, counting your windows, taking pictures, taking names...
Here they had essentially a pasture, almost no elevation anywhere, and 360 degrees of visibility.
Not to mention people pointing at the lunatic with the rifle.
