The Lee manual show the same amount of powder for each if you use Varget powder. At least the same range. I bit more for 5.56 certainly wouldn’t hurt any thing.
Over the 4 decades I use kegs of IMR4064, Ball C2, WC846 and most likely others in the 223/5.56.
Never used Varget because I still have kegs of some of the above.
I know that the different in the weight and thickness between comm.223 cases and military brass can cause problems with some powders.
