The shooter was Maxwell Yearick. You can match the sewed up gauges in his ears, his freckles, and his jaw. Who knows who this other kid is.

The close-up photos of the dead guy on the roof resemble Yearick, not Crooks. Crooks had a fatter face and wider jawline.

But it's possible they were both present. Multiple shooters are preferred for these types of operations, to eliminate a single point of failure. For whatever reason, Crooks has been the designated fall guy, or patsy.

I think this is true. Yearick was the shooter, Crooks the spotter. They look somewhat similar but the scar on the ear tells a lot as it’s not just a blood splotch but had depth. Yearick was involved with antifa for a long time, so if he was revealed to be the shooter, it would enrage a lot of people. Best to put a bullied 20 year old that was somehow angry at trump while the kid was in middle school during the trump years.

Also, yearick was arrested multiple times and had the impetus. Crooks was 20!and probably thought he would survive the ordeal. There was probably extensive training involved as well.

The truth will come out.
