I saw the “sniper's statement” on X and would take it with a grain of salt. Anybody could have posted it, and I doubt the sniper would have as he would be out of a job.

The eyewitness with the trump visor with fake orange hair even said that he was trying to get the attention of the SS (the guys on the roof I imagine) and pointing that the guy was on the roof. But the witness said he didn't think the SS could see the shooter as he was behind the ridge line of the roof.

I looked on Google Earth - the snipers had about 3 feet more elevation above the shooters roof. More for the sniper that was sitting up. And the other roof was pretty flat. I suppose one could estimate the angles and see when the shooter would be visible to the SS.

It appeared to me that the sniper sitting up was trained on the taller building to the left and beyond the shooters building. Upon hearing the shots he looked up to acquire the new target and adjusted right and down to fire.

If they could see the shooter but couldn't see the rifle, would they take the risk of shooting someone just trying to get a better view? I know warning shots aren't a thing - but maybe if they were questioning assassin/spectator, they shoot the roof 2 feet to the side to see the reaction? That's probably just in the movies.
