Sure...when he first started crawling on the roof.
They were alerted to the potential threat well before the shooter got into position to take the shots.
They even had him sighted in plenty of time to take him out....but waited until the shooter got off several shots.
At an absolute rock bottom minimum, the agents near Trump should have been told to either move Trump off the stage or to cover him behind the podium.
That shooter didn't pop his head, and gun, above the roof peak in a couple of seconds, locate Trump and take several shots. No way.
The agents watched him in their scopes for more than enough time to take him out first.
The video here clearly shows both agents with the shooter sighted for AT LEAST 7-8 seconds (likely much longer) before the person taking this video started to focus on those agents. 5 - The secret service didn't think of securing the high point and advantage area over the event...
