You don’t walk into a supposedly controlled area with a rifle, all the time knowing which building isn’t covered by law enforcement, making it that much easier for you to climb up on it, set up your weapon, and commence shooting, 9 minutes into a rally, without outside help. Still no word as to how he got up onto the roof. Is there a metal ladder attached to the side of the building that the shooter was directed to, or did someone conveniently place a ladder there for him, because I highly doubt the f-er brought his own with him.
Yeah, that ladder is key.
Wasn’t there a woman in one of the videos yelling something like “crooks! What are you doing there? Get over here?” Anyway, something along those lines.
I think the guy had help, and he certainly had some sort of training.
There was a regular portable ladder up against the building in plain sight. How it got there and why it wasn’t thoroughly investigated is a big question.
Yeah, as I said on another thread:
Those ladders aren’t light and they’re unwieldy to handle unless you are used to them. The shooter didn’t look to be muscular enough to handle one very efficiently. Just his trying to get the ladder up and in place should have drawn attention.
Also, where did he get the ladder. They said he drove a car and I can’t see him bringing it with him. Heck those ladders are about too much for a standard pickup.
Was the ladder on site? How did he know it was there? How did he move it from where it was stored to the side of the building without being noticed. I just don’t see how this was a “one guy” job.
There was a ladder... the ladder a cop climbed.
It isn’t clear if it was a ladder the cops found and used to get up there or if it was there all along.
The perp could have put himself in position a day or so ahead of time and pulled a ladder up with him so as to not draw suspicion.
Or, climbed up a ladder he brought for the purpose and propositioned.
Or used one that has already been there.
SUPPOSEDLY, a policeman came up the ladder and talked to the gunman and that’s when he started shooting.
Yeah. He had one of those little, extendo ladders in his bag (?) with his gun. He might as have backed a truck up woth a cherry picker for all the attention he was NOT getting.
From comments I heard, the ladder was an addition and not attached to the building.
This Secret Service wouldn’t have noticed a guy with a twenty foot ladder and a rifle walking around the venue.
Yes, there was a ladder behind a bush
apparently there was a ladder, because according to one report a cop climbed up the ladder saw the guy and the guy pointed the rifle at him and the cop climbed back down. Or maybe that’s just a story that’s going around.
