Trump once said his mother was “hard core Scottish.” Read the book, “How the Scots Invented the Modern World” and you’ll understand where Trump is coming from. The Scots and the Scotch-Irish, in particular, were the backbone of Washington’s Continental Army during the Revolution. They had the reputation of being fierce fighters.
J.D. Vance, by the way, is from the same heritage. I hope he’s Trump’s pick for V.P. He is as tough as nails and had to be to survive a horrible childhood.
