The Kennedy shot was around 70 yards. Not long. Trump’s assassin was 130 yards away. I have shot a 12 inch plate at 290 yards on my first shot with a 308. Never had attempted that long a shot ever before with that rifle. Oswald was hitting a target at 200 yards with open sights. He was a good shot.
I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. It looks to me like she is trying to get him moving off the stage.
She appears to be ducking and running while staying behind Trump and the guys for cover.
Another close up video shows her reaching down to pick up Trump’s hat.
I am going to wait on that one. Fact is she was not large enough to cover a tall man like Trump.
The nation is “on edge” because the Democrats and their media minions, including Time, have spent the past 8 or 9 years telling us that Trump is Hitler and that violence is an OK response to stop him.
The adrenaline and nerves just get to them.

We are literally on the edge of our seats when both candidates speak. Is one going to be injured. Is the other going to freeze up and fall over. It’s a terrible thing, having no confidence in our institutions to remain lawful and competent. The trust is so broken. Not to mention the media.
The country is riding a red wave. Maybe even 70/30 red. The media will need to catch up if it wants to sell ads.

I think you are right. I believe also if the reports are correct, a local cop made an attempt to get onto the roof where the shooter aimed his rifle at the cop who then retreated and then the shooter started firing quickly.

I agree with you. No matter how hard she was trying, she was not physically capable of covering the president. There is much too much of President Trump exposed. Even if she “took a bullet” for him, it very likely would have gone through her smaller body mass and significantly injured if not killed him. DEI can kill.
