How come the pic of the dead assassin doesn’t match the pic of Crooks, and what happened to Crooks?

I agree. The pic of that dead guy on the roof doesn’t look like Crooks who resembles a Pee Wee Herman type.

A headshot from a high-powered rifle does tend to mess up the facial features. The shape of the face is distorted.

The ear, the hair, the hairline, the eyebrows, the chin, and the beard all match up. I would say it is the same guy.

and what happened to Crooks?

He died on that roof.
