George, you want to place blame? Place it on the local police and county whose snipers held fire until after the assassin shot 8x.
The “Police” snipers were in over watch of the shooter’s position. Which means that was their sector they were responsible for. They followed local P.D. ROE waiting for shooter to shoot first rather than Secret Service protocol to shoot at weapon observed.
This was a Local, county F-up. If there were more Secret Service agents I have no doubt they’d be assigned to that sector and the radical, violent socialist would not have gotten off a shot.
You don’t delegate entire sectors and then wash your hands of responsibility.
SS at an absolute minimum had to be monitoring and coordinating all activity.
If they had drone coverage (not confirmed) then at least some SS folks were in on the assassination plot.
Secret service and the cops should never allow anyone on a roof with a long rifle near the President.
That should be basic - standard operating procedure.
They were told about this repeatedly, still did nothing = malice.
Trump has repeatedly asked for more SS protection and has been repeatedly turned down.
