Have grouped 1 inch out to 300 yards from bench with tuned in scope.

If this guys equipment was tuned in he was very hasty in his timing and thankfully so.
I just rechecked. In Basic Training we had to shoot a target with three rounds minimum on 200, 400 and 1,000 yards!
I think requalify (every 4 years) was 400 yards.
I remember that 1,000-yard man-sized silhouette looked about the same size as the front sight.
