Actually piss poor marksmanship and trigger control, simply missed the initial kill shot, and then sprayed and prayed, hoping to hit something.

Bingo. Trained or even amateur shooter with sighted in equipment should time the angle for best profile.

Long time hunters wil recognize this .

This smells like a setup,of the goal of allow the opportunity and kill the shooter to cut off motive,

In the moments preceding the event, President Trump (the target) placed both his hands on the podium making a triangle with his chest as the base.

This had the effect of making him a momentary vertical statue.

His head could have been on a swivel, rotating continiously for 360 degrees, and the center of the mass of his head would not have changed location.

The angle presented to the shooter may have had a variable edge of a fraction of an inch, but the center never changed.

The shooter took his shot, at 140 yds (1 and 1/2 football fields) and simply set it off as the sights wandered to the left of center.

Heart racing, breathing timing, distraction?,whatever, he simply missed, then let loose the remainder in an attempt to hit something, or out of frustration.

Either way, does not look to be a "trained professional", rather a low life wanna be, possibly groomed? Possilby frustrated dirtbag.

My problem is with the detail guarding the pres.

What kind of security detail overlooks the closest roof ridge as a possible sniper hide?
