And the gunman was allowed to take the closest rooftop with the best and most direct view of Trump (and still missed). He was actually a pretty good shot.
Daily Mail reports that Trump moved his head just as the gun was fired. Had Trump not shifted at that specific moment, he might be dead.

He was actually a pretty good shot.Perhaps, but at 130 yards it is an easy shot. You would not even need a scope. I can do 3 inch groups with open sights at that distance.
The real question is why was not every rooftop within sniper distance not covered and or observed. This is massive incompetence. Trump probably has inner ear damage. That slug but 1 inch from his eardrum gives off a sonic boom pressure wave.
