It’s either gross incompetence or it was allowed on purpose. Those are the only two possibilities. If I was president Trump I would hire a few of my own security guys to work on my security detail. I wouldn’t trust my life to an agency run by a woman from Pepsi’s loss prevention department. They couldn’t even stop an attack that people in the crowd saw coming minutes before it happened.

There is a third possibility - that Trumps security detail is is way too small and over stretched to do the job properly.

In Trump's case, think about how many demands have been made on his SS staff with multiple trial dates for malicious prosecutions in hostile locations and multiple campaign events around the country.
The tempo of work for these people has been off the charts and a lot of it has been done intentionally by the Biden Admin to over whelm and over stress not just Trump but his security as well Trump That said, this is a pretty huge breakdown in security by the boots on the ground SS and it really needs to be looked at.
But I think the real issue here is the Biden Admin's weaponization of the SS against political rivals and even Supreme Court Justices by the willful and malicious withholding of security assets from Trump and RFK Jr in hopes of intimidatingn them or having them restrict their campaigns or risk assassinations.
Several of the Supreme Court Justices also had assassination threats by Antifa style protesters illegally gathered outside their homes at all hours.
The Biden Admin refused to have law enforcement remove the protesters and also refuse them security details until there was a serious assassination attempt on one of the justices.
