you are correct about President Trump realizing what was happening and dropping right down. The media keeps going on about how the SS saved the day by rushing up on stage. Sorry, but i was not impressed. To me it seemed like a very slow response. Trump did what he did on his own.

I saw a replay video of it about thirty minutes after it happened and my first impression of it was that Trump purposely dropped to the deck and it seemed like forever before any agents came over and covered him. I kept thinking “where the hell are the SS agents?”
I’ve watched it again since then and haven’t changed my take on it.
Have you seen the video of the female SS who can’t even find the holster for her gun while they were bumbling around the vehicle like Keystone Cops? This was not a good display today and only God Himself protected our true and righteous President.
