Yes the building was on the right side and he was hit in his right ear so the bullet in the picture was going past him left to right. there were at lest five shots and that was probably the first shot as Trump has not flinched from being hit yet. and the round does appear to be high from the angle.

That is probably the bullet trace from bullet passing by after grazing him.
