Same thing Reagan was shot with.
Big difference is Reagan was shot on a cold, rainy day. Easy to conceal a rifle under a coat/raincoat. Today's shooting was in the middle of July. Wondering how he concealed a rifle. What was he wearing? How did anyone not notice?
Yeah, I'm armchair quarterbacking, but seems odd.

Reagan was shot by an easily concealed revolver at close range. Also, the shooter today, I believe, used a .22lr (long range) while Hinckley did not. Hinckley also used hollow point “Devastator” bullets.
