The SS takes its orders from the Biden Administration. The area of the shooter’s location was reportedly outside of the SS’s determination for required observation. One has to wonder who set the security perimeter and why it stopped short of a rooftop within shooting range of the podium.

To be fair just heard on NewsMax that his SS has been asking to beef up security and assign additional staff and Biden’s Homeland security denied their request.

I can understand outside their area of immediate control, but any elevated location within 300 m (or maybe even 500 m) should be somehow secured and/or observed during the event. A rooftop at 200 yd, almost anyone can easily put a couple rounds on target at that range!
