Whatever. The original harvest fest we now call Thanksgiving was when the Separatists, what we now call Pilgrims, celebrated along with the local natives. It was the 50, out of 100 people that survived that first winter, from the Mayflower and a bunch of Indians that they got along with.
It was nothing more than being thankful for the fall harvest. Governor Bradford’s writings are the only reason we know about it.
