It is a long flight from Mogadishu to Minneapolis.

The best is probably on Turkish Airlines thru Istanbul, then onto Chicago or Toronto before the final flight to Minneapolis.

You can also route thru Dubai and then onward.

Flights for business class (no coach fare for this important man) are $4,000 and up. It takes two days to get here.

So he didn’t fly on his own dime, and he didn’t make just one stop and then back home.

As an ex-PM, would he still have diplomatic protections? Do not know. That would involve his luggage and carry-ons.

I am curious as to where he also traveled, and why.

Notable figures such as former U.S. Ambassador to Somalia Larry E. Andre Jr., who participated in the Town Hall in 2022, have been involved in Somali Week. Khaire was unable to attend the inaugural Somali American Business Conference last year.
