China lashed out at NATO on Thursday, accusing it of smearing the country after the Western alliance called it a “decisive enabler” of Russia’s war in Ukraine — the first time it has accused Beijing of involvement in the conflict.
China “cannot enable the largest war in Europe in recent history without this negatively impacting its interests and reputation,” NATO said in a communique Wednesday at its summit marking its 75th anniversary in Washington, D.C., hinting at unspecified consequences if Beijing continued its course.
China’s response was swift and blunt.
NATO’s statement was “filled with Cold War mentality and belligerent rhetoric,” which was “provocative” and filled with “obvious lies and smears,” a spokesperson for China’s mission to the European Union said in a statement early Thursday. “We firmly reject and deplore these accusations and have lodged serious representations with NATO.”

Like nobody knew that China would aid Russia. From a real politics standpoint, America has been making noise about knocking China down a pager too so why wouldn’t China side with Russia to blunt America’s efforts to inflict damage on China? Would China want a NATO dominated Russia as its neighbor? I don’t think so.

The West has lost its mind- calling China an enabler while the US has sent $$$Billions of taxpayer’s money in arms and support is deluded logic.
Delusion, clear and simple. Our government has much blood on its hands, and it will never wash off. History will no doubt record US’s actions as the defining moment the US went into collapse. Immorality, corruption, lawlessness, all signs of a failed government.

I remember the early days back in spring of 2022 when the neocons were trying to conduct “purity tests” on Freepers. They enraged me when they were calling into question my patriotism for using the long-accepted and common usage of “the Ukraine” instead of “Ukraine”. They literally started commenting among themselves where I stood based on that. The they were all in on the ‘Ghost of Ukraine’ pushing what was the cheesiest, ham-handed propaganda malpractice. They followed up with over two years of viciously screaming for blood and death like rabid dogs.

Stupid is my guess. First, NATO was formed for the Defense of Europe, they have no business outside of that theatre. Instead of Defense, they continuously expanded East, becoming an offensive organization.
The US’s war mongering and interventions in theatres 6,000 miles to the East ( Ukraine) and now 6,000 miles West ( China) will most surely end in defeat.
Important to note Chinese troops are now on Poland’s border, as well as in Africa and ME.
