The power grid didn’t fail. It was a freaking hurricane. Houston had 90 mph wind gusts. Such morons.

Well, I think this is a good excuse to get rid of ERCOT that the fed saddled us with years ago-and their insistence on mostly renewable-and unreliable-energy Maybe the supreme court’s anti-meddling ruling will help...

I’ve been in a couple of hurricanes when visiting relatives on the coast. Power is the 1st thing you expect to lose because the wind plays havoc with the power lines and knocks down the poles-people in states with coasts like Florida and Texas are used to hurricanes and we know what to do-do the people who are whining live on a different planet-jeez...
