My biggest complaint about people from all across the political spectrum, is that they never look back at old arguments were made and positions that were taken years ago, and all the 180° turns that came afterwards
...Like the Democrats being the party of “mom and pop stores” who were anti big box stores. Then they turn around and praise these same corporate behemoths for bowing to Pride month, and decry Conservative boycotts....
...Or how the medical industrial complex was portrayed as greedy during the whole Obamacare debate, and were then transformed into Gods during COVID.
But most frustrating of all is how so many well meaning people are browbeaten into debating the whole transgender issue within the narrow parameters set by it’s protagonists. Where you’re not allowed to bring up the fact that literally nobody was calling themselves transgender or saying that they were born the wrong sex until the past 5-15 years.
So what happened to all the transgender people prior to that throughout all of human history? Did they all commit suicide? Why doesn’t one single person ever ask this question to all the pediatricians and pediatric associations, who are now trained to chant “you can either have a living daughter or a dead son”.
Instead, people make these lame arguments like “let’s make a separate category for transgender athletes”.
The older I get, the more convinced I am that God purposely made most people weak and stupid, because otherwise, his plan for the world would’ve been fulfilled a long time ago. I guess he wants to drag it out for entertainment purposes.
