I never read the book.
Did she actually write it or was someone doing the writing?
Her name is on it so I assume she at least read what was written in her book, even if she didn’t read it.
She’s been odd lately. Too much plastic surgery, the infidelity rumors, the weird book … her life seems chaotic now and that’s without the national press all over her as they would be if she’s VP.
I believe she wrote it. I saw the caption & red a few pages on shooting the dog. I went into knowing she was on a farm & I understand putting an animal down, etc.. The problem wasn’t that she did it, it was how she wrote about it. She was really flippant & indifferent & she came off like a horses ass about it. Most people didn’t grow up on farms, so they don’t completely understand that sometimes that has to happen. It’s just that most of the farmers I know who have to do those kind of things do not talk about it as flippantly & nasty the way she did. It pains most farmers having to put down their animals. They care about them, they respect them & feel for them. They don’t take it lightly. They do it because it’s a realistic part of life, but they don’t celebrate it with giddy words. So for any of us who love our dogs & cats & think of them as part of the family- the way she talked about the issue- I find her attitude bothersome. I’m staunchly right wing- but I love animals (honestly more than people🤣). To me they are a gift from God. Since I know putting animals down is a part of life, one of the things I want to know is that when it’s done, it’s treated solemnly after 😉
