When we had the big freeze here several years ago, a lot of people lost natural gas pressure because there was no electricity to drive the pumps that control the gas pressure. Just giving you the heads up.
No one in our SE TX area lost gas pressure, thankfully, during Rita, Ike, Harvey, or the Big Freeze of 2021. Not saying it can’t happen. We also have access to back up diesel generators, if ever needed.
So far, still good, here (w/natural gas) ... power is still out, in our area.
Latest estimate is earliest folks will start getting power back, is tomorrow.
