France Just Committed Suicide

"Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last," is how Winston Churchill, just months away from becoming Britain's wartime Prime Minister, described the appeasement that led to World War II. "All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. "

The same could be said of France's snap election, in which everyone from French Stalinists to the country's business interests banded together to defeat the country's "far right" at the polls. But the far right is not the threat, and the crocodile snapping at everyone's heels is the accelerating Islamification of France.

While Marine Le Pen's conservative National Rally performed unexpectedly well in the first round of voting, Sunday's second-round results were a disappointment — dangerously so. While the pro-business bloc joined forces with French President Emmanuel Macron's centrist coalition, it still came in second to the far-left New Popular Front.

None of the coalitions that came together against Le Pen won big enough to form a government, but the New Popular Front will certainly be a part of it since French elites would rather die than partner with Le Pen's National Rally. The Wall Street Journal described the NPF as "a diverse coalition whose most powerful faction is a polarizing, far-left party, France Unbowed."

The NPF "wants to lower France’s retirement age and vastly expand government spending on social welfare, environmental protection, and health care," according to the Washington Post. Macron's coalition wants to continue the same 'business as usual" approach that led to Le Pen's first-round upset. Neither opposes the ongoing Islamification of France, where in the no-go zones in the Paris suburbs the most popular boy's name is Mohammed.

Today's French elites would rather lose to today's invaders than lose an election to the country's "far right." Having invited the crocodile in, everyone from the French Communist Party to President Macron hopes they'll be the last to be devoured.

If that isn't national suicide, I don't know what it is.

We’ll see something similar in our upcoming election cycle.

crocodile snapping at everyone’s heels is the accelerating Islamification of France.

And neither side will address it. Just like we will not stop the takeover of this country by illegals.

They didn’t “just commit suicide” they made the wrist slits larger.

Wanting and doing are different things. The left are rioting because they got bupkis. They got the most seats, but are well short of a majority. Macron’s center right and the right have almost 60% of the seats.

[Here’s a look at the final results from the second round. According to the Interior Ministry, the leftist coalition has taken the most seats in parliament, with at least 181. Macron’s centrists have more than 160 seats. Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally have 143 seats after leading in the first round.]

It’s a victory without the power to make policy.

“Islamification of France”

Isn’t that is happening to all those European and Nordic countries that encouraged and allowed all those poor Muslim migrants to enter who now have become invaders and want to make those countries part of a worldwide Caliphate under Sharia Law?

There’s going to be a real need for a real life Galt’s Gulch, and it had better be big.

Today's French elites would rather lose to today's invaders than lose an election to the country's "far right."

This very much has the feel of January 1933 when Franz von Papen and the Prussian business and military elites pressured Paul von Hindenburg to appoint Adolph Hitler as chancellor, and von Papen as vice-chancellor in 1933, to form a cabinet - that they thought they would control.

We know how that turned out.

In my time, there have been 8 heads of state in France including Macron. Every one of them has been anti American.

Why should America give a damn about France?

About 250 years ago they helped us, but it’s been a drought since.

Britain has also committed suicide in much the same way. Sure, Farage got on the map but with Tories and Labor following the very same policies it doesn’t mean much.

Note that in Israel the left and the Muslim parties joined forces to get rid of Netanyahu, and almost pulled it off. They are still trying.

Here they are flooding the country with mass immigration the same way they have done in Western Europe, in overwhelming numbers. The only thing in our favor is that most of them are Latin Americans, and not Muslims, but there are plenty of them too. It’s a strategic move, they’ve done it in every western country, and they are doing it here.

At least some of them need to be hung. Not much will be done. There will need to be a coalition to get a new PM. The Left coalition doesn't have the votes to get one on their own. It gives Macron some leverage to reach a consensus, less radical nominee.
