Whether you like leftism or not (I don’t), one of the most admirable things about leftists is that they are long-term planners. Conservatives dream of quick fixes, but leftists put systems in place and then patiently wait for them to come to fruition. San Francisco perfectly illustrates how this works...and it goes back to the 1960s.
At the end of June, a San Francisco convenience store was robbed and vandalized. This happened in a city that no longer polices minor crimes (allowing it to boast that its crime statistics have improved), thereby paving the way for major crimes.
The city, rather than vowing to do better to protect its law-abiding taxpayer citizens, served the storeowner with a notice warning him that he’d better fix the damage the city’s policies caused...or else. And do note that this is a minority-owned business in what I happen to know is (or at least was) a working-class neighborhood.

CNN had reruns of the decades documentaries last night.
The one on the 60s showed the San Francisco role in poetry, music and cultural change brought to an end by Manson and then the Altamont violence elsewhere. Old Harry Reasoner quotes of the time were the hippies were doomed and based on flimsy and naive premises and they were going to fail. Seemed to be referring to past socialist dreams where everyone shared and no one had to work—somehow.
Showed some San Franciscans handing out free meals to anyone who asked.
My question: who did the dishes and who bought and cooked the meals and what if millions of illegals came in to ask for free stuff while they relaxed.
Dem voters need to stay in San Francisco and enjoy. Do not move here.
For almost two decades I went to a software conference in SF, but I hadn’t been there for almost 12 years. I went back and was stunned. One block from the Wharf were human feces on the street, people passed out in doorways, needles in the gutters.
How could the voters of SF let this happen? I will never go back.
You should have been there when Xi Jin Ping arrived for a meeting. They cleaned the entire city up.

Under eminent domain laws, we are all aware that government is responsible to pay for direct takings of private property for public use, which is known as "direct condemnation."
Prior to the 1960s, many states also had laws directly dealing with "inverse condemnation" ie) losses to private property caused by government fault or inaction - which specifically cited "takings" against private property, specifically by government failing to prosecute crimes, or allowing violent mobs to destroy property.
Of course "progressives" did away with such laws by the 1960s

The only distinctions San Francisco carries are that no matter how good the weather is, or how deep is the cultural foundation, or how much money is floating about, Democrats can still wreck and ruin.
Central to the Democrat's California strategy was changing California's demographics from white majority to majority minority by the year 2000. The goal was to manufacture a permanent underclass totally dependent upon California welfare and entitlement payments so they would vote for a permant Democrats majority.
To accomplish this the Democrat dominated welfare bureaucracy actively recruited mostly Hispanic illegal aliens from Mexico and gave these illegals aliens permanent resident status using anchor babies as a quasi legal pretext to give them standing in the US.
California Democrats then enrolled the illegals in the lavish California entitlement system starting with taxpayer funded prenatal care and tax payer funded labor and delivery coverage for the anchor babies in the best hospitals California had to offer.
In California, a babies right to life does not begin at conception, by the right to immediate and perpetual California taxpayer funded welfare and healthcare certainly does if you are an illegal alien.
Back during the 2016 election, those violent thugs who attacked Trump supporters in San Jose included a large plurality of these grown up anchor babies who's illegal alien parents who had been Cali welfare dependents since their anchor babies were conceived and who were themselves part of the Democrat underclass riding the California welfare entitlement system.
Amazingly, many of these illegals and anchor babies are also getting workers comp and disability payments on top of their generous California welfare hauls despite the fact that they have never had a legit, non under ground economy job in their entire lives.
California in the 1980s and NYC under Mayor Dinkens were the test runs for Democrats vision for America.
We are watching an accelerated on steroids version of the California demographic replacement plan being implemented across America by the Biden Administration.
Rest assured that our millions of new military aged male illegal alien "refugees" have no qualms against doing to Americans what the Hispanic anchor babies did to Trump supporters in San Jose back in 2016
And Oakland is another shining light of libtard utopia
Some new California laws went into effect July 1st, 2024. They don't enforce the existing laws, but implement crazy new ones.
Every year vehicle owners must renew registration tags and place them on their license plates. A new law says cops cannot stop cars and ticket them if the expired license tags are less than two months expired. What? Rather than enforce the law, cops must ignore it? I get it; low income and illegal aliens were impacted by laws the rest of us citizens must obey. Damn Newsom!

The idea is to create such a level of chaos and insecurity that the people will cry out to the government for relief. And the government will eventually respond and crack down, then they will say, “We took care of it. Now let us just settle these here boots on your necks. It won’t feel too bad; just do what we say when we say it. Yeeeaaaah, that’s just about right! We’ll take care of ya!”
Sad to hear. I used to love to go to Fisherman’s Wharf on a cold, foggy peak summer day and eat clam chowder out of a sourdough bowl.
I went on a biz trip 2018. It was disgusting.
