If the Democrats win, the Trump tax cuts will expire next year. That will be a massive windfall for wealthy people in high tax states (who currently have a cap on how much of their state income tax is deductible on their federal taxes). There was a thread about this some time back--for millionaires it could be a tax break of upwards of $100,000.
The interesting story is that everyone on the White House staff knows Biden did not write this letter—and they are so terrified they refuse to blow the whistle on this fraud.

I expect 0bama did the first draft, then got edits from Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, and Eric Holder. Last, they ran it by the Biden family, whose input was really not wanted or needed.
