Rep. Angie Craig Demands Joe Biden Drop Out — First Lawmaker to Defect After ABC Interview
Breitbart ^ | 7-6-24 | Bradley Jaye

President Joe Biden, on Saturday, lost the support of yet another Democrat member of Congress, the first to do so in the aftermath of Biden’s too-little-too-late Friday ABC News interview, which failed to assuage his critics.

Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) officially asked Biden to step aside early Saturday morning, saying, “As an elected leader, I feel a responsibility to be honest about what I believe, even when it’s hard to hear.”

Craig is the fifth member of Congress to demand Biden step aside since his disastrous June 27 debate.

The battleground district lawmaker hails from Minnesota, a state unexpectedly in play for former President Donald Trump, as Biden has stumbled, and Trump has gained steam. Despite Biden winning the state by more than seven percentage points in 2020, polling now shows Trump defeating Biden by as many as four points.

A June poll from the respected firm McLaughlin & Associates shows Trump leading with 41 percent support, followed by 37 percent for Biden, seven percent for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., two percent for independent candidate Cornel West, two percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein, and 0.6 percent for Libertarian Party candidate Chase Oliver. Another 11 percent remain undecided.

In her statement, Craig credited Biden — whom she says signed her bills into law — before turning on the president.

She’s the first since Biden’s Friday ABC interview with Stephanopoulos.

They are acting like the guy with ALL of the delegates has no say about staying or not. Biden win the primary, you don’t get to say, thanks for voting but we’ll make the decision. Stay firm Biden!

Do you think Harris and a majority of principal officers of the executive departments would have the guts to move forward with the 25th. Amendment?

The oust-Biden Democrats are all just waiting for the next event in which Brandon falls flat on his face. Since the debate, his team has managed to present him in a somewhat passible condition. But there’s no way they’re going to be able to maintain that for another 4 months (especially if there’s a 2nd debates). In fact, I’d say there’s a very good chance he has a major fail at the NATO shindig this upcoming week. And if/when he does, the calls for his resignation will become an avalanche that he won’t be able to withstand.

Once the Democrats are all on board regarding his removal, they will start playing hardball. There are so many things they can do to destroy him if they want to, but they’ve been hoping Joe would go along quietly and such tactics wouldn’t be needed.

What could they do if they really get serious?

- How about hiring rent-a-mobs to show up at his speaking events?

- How about Antifa activists mercilessly heckling him over Gaza at his next event? That’s all it would take to throw him off his game, tele-prompter or not.

- How about putting the 25th Amendment on the table and openly talking about it on the cable news channels?

- How about White House staff openly talking about what really goes on behind the scenes, including the administration of drugs to keep Biden somewhat functional? All it would take would be a little money or a book deal to get some of them to share their stories, publicly.

- How about Merrick Garland relenting and handing over the Hur tapes? After all, Garland does what he’s told.

- How about hints of more indictments against Hunter, maybe even Jill? How about Jill being snubbed, behind the scenes? The Democrat Establishment could turn her living fantasy of being Queen, into a nightmare, if they wanted to.

I like all of these except talking about what drugs are administered. That could be a HIPAA violation.

So clearly the memo has gone out to the Democrats to throw the cucumber in chief under the bus.

If they can't unmoor his delegates from their previous commitment to him what does it matter what other Democrats say? Somebody explain this to me.
