President Biden had a message on Friday for Democrats and others who are calling on him to drop his reelection bid after last week's debate: "I am going to run and I'm going to win again."
Speaking to supporters in the battleground state of Wisconsin on Friday, the president reiterated that he won't be forced out as the Democratic presidential nominee amid a chorus of criticism and concern sparked by his startling debate performance.
The president cited the results of the primary process, which was tightly controlled by the Democratic Party and featured no serious challengers to his renomination.
"I'm the nominee of the Democratic Party," the president said. "You voted for me to be your nominee, no one else. You, the voters, did that. And despite that, some folks don't seem to care who you voted for. Well, guess what: they're trying to push me out of the race. Well, let me say this as clearly as I can: I'm staying in the race."

Some people say that dementia patients become angry and defiant when people try to tell them what to do.
So it could be this talk of Joe stepping aside has made him more determined to stay.
Then Democrats would have to do the 25th amendment process, or stage a coup at the Democrat convention, to get his delegates to not vote for Joe.
But then again all of these convention delegates were pledged to vote for Joe on the first ballot.
So who really knows what will happen stay tuned.

IOW, SloJoe and Jill’s asking price hasn’t been met yet, so the exit negotiations are still ongoing.
What media retards don’t get is their coup attempt against Biden is moronic. He has the delegates and dough locked up, and they can’t force him out.
Democrat donors think Trump is literally Hitler. They’re not gonna stop giving to Biden, given that they think the alternative is Treblinka. Biden will not only get all the money he needs, he’ll likely way outraise Trump. Zuckerberg hasn’t piped up, but he did spend $400m in 2020. Whether a money edge gets Biden over the top - we’ll see.

It’s all about Jill Biden. Hunter Biden isn’t a problem. Daddy Joe can pardon Hunter instantly. So no worries there.
But how do you convince Jill to go with the program? She likes the prestige of being First Lady, and she wants four more years of that. Plus, she doesn’t want Joe to be humiliated by having to step aside.
I don’t think money will work. The Bidens have plenty as it is. Maybe a physical threat from a scary CIA guy?

People have to understand that, he doesn’t know any better. And, what he ‘says’ is being said by someone else, through a teleprompter.
When suburban voters said they didn’t like Trump because of his sarcastic remarks and his mean tweets the voters thought the grandfatherly, “moderate” Biden would being back the good old days of a calmer America (ruined by their deliberate leftist protests and slanderous media assaults every single day).
He didn’t. He made every divisive statement, marginalized his GOP opponents, did executive orders and cut down freedoms (gas stoves, gas cars, drilling for oil, right to free speech on social media).
Now he yells and screams hatred at the top of his old lungs to crowds to prove he is “vigorous.” When not yelling hate he falls over half asleep or wanders lost behind a podium.

Why aren’t the voters criticizing Biden now?

Don’t believe ANYTHING the Dems say or do. Sometimes I think even old feeble brandon is faking the senility...why? To get his name in the headlines and stir up the core of nanny state voters. Yes, he has diminished capabilities, but not diminished enough to rally the government dependants to vote for universal healthcare, forgiveness of leaching student loans, finishing the lives of nascent human beings for any reason, etc...all the while degrading the military, increasing taxes, increasing inflation, and putting criminals on our street from street rioters and lax jail sentences and importing them.
Ultimately it is the degradation of much of the culture that allows his sick pandering.
Actually it’s true of most 80-somethings in general. They are very stubborn and it’s nearly impossible to pressure them to change their mind. Especially when they feel their autonomy is being disrespected.
Do not let the significance of the fact the Democrat National Convention is scheduled to be held in Chicago escape your notice. The last time the Democrats met in Chicago, in 1968, things got a little out of hand, and the Democrats got such a blowback from that thermonuclear blast, Nixon was swept into office. There is a hot angry mob building right now in Chicago, in reaction to the hordes of “newcomers” swarming over the border, that fuels what shows signs of becoming a real revolt.
I seem to recall Nixon being totally defiant in 1974. He wasn’t a “quitter”—until he was.
He’s jailed his political opponents like no president since Lincoln. Where are the complaints about being a dictator and using the DOJ to go after your political opponents?
