The fat lady is warming up her vocal chords. The Ukrainians are fighting a losing battle. They are running out of men to throw into the front lines. They have no way to defend against the FAB bombs. One bomb takes out an entire building. They used to need 100s of rounds of artillery to get a similar result.

Modern wars are not won so much on the battlefield as they are at home. The US won practically every battle in Vietnam but lost the war at home. WWI Germany was winning until they weren’t. The loss came at home when the government disintegrated

We won’t know what’s going on for real until it happens. We watch the news, listen to the commentary but we are not informed about the myriad problems each side faces at home.
And at home I’d guess Russia is the weaker combatant.
