14/15 - You’re a genius!
A combination of four lucky guesses and four years in my late teens/early 20s living nine blocks from Independence Hall, I guess. 😊
Happy Fourth of July, Canteeners!

Yay! You really ARE a genius! That’s an awesome score. It must have been a lovely place to live back then. Now? Not so much.

It must have been a lovely place to live back then. Now? Not so much.It was great back then. And it was just after the Bicentennial, so a lot of the Center City area had undergone updates. The infrastructure was in good shape and it was pretty, lively and a fun place for young people just newly out on their own.
I wouldn’t go near there now. The last time I visited was in the early 90s.

It’s totally stopped being the City Of Brotherly Love. It’s now the City Of Thuggery Crime. Sad. Just like so many of our former wonderful cities. Like San Francisco.

It sounds like Nashville. It was a nice city and a lot of fun when I lived there in the ‘70s but I won’t go there for any reason now.
Raleigh, NC was another city that was really nice when I moved there in ‘79. It went downhill, though, and I was ready to get out of there by the time I left in ‘93 to come back here to take care of Mom. Went back for a visit in ‘97 and have no desire to go back.
It’s a shame when good cities are ruined.

It’s very sad. And I’m not sure they can ever come back from their ruination.

I always wanted to visit Nashville, but I’ve read that crime has been on the rise there. Friends who went there in the past always had good things to say.
It’s a shame that the leftists have destroyed so many American cities.

It does...and the time is different for each person. Just take it one day at a time....if that’s possible.

I’m sure there are still areas that you could visit safely and still have a good time. I hope so anyway.
